Project Overview

In this project, we successfully improved the search engine optimization (SEO) of Founders’ Dairy, a specialty foods retailer located in Burlington, Vermont, USA. Our task was to update the page titles and meta descriptions of two key pages on the website: the product page for buying cheeses online and a page of recipes that use Founders’ products. We made sure to accurately reflect the website URL and page content, and accurately summarize the content of each page, in order to increase visibility and click-through rate from search engine results pages. The results were successful, leading to an increase in visibility and click-through rate, helping Founders’ Dairy reach more potential customers and drive sales. Overall, the project was a great success, and we are proud of the positive impact it had on the business.

Project Execution

The project undertaken was to enhance the search engine optimization (SEO) of Founders’ Dairy, a specialty foods retailer located in Burlington, Vermont, USA. The objective was to improve the visibility and click-through rate from search engine results pages by updating the page titles and meta descriptions of two pages on the website: the product page for buying cheeses online and a page of recipes that use Founders’ products.

This was achieved by accurately reflecting the website URL and page content and summarizing the content of each page in an attractive and compelling way. The approach taken was to research and analyze the current titles and meta descriptions, review the content of each page, and come up with new titles and meta descriptions that highlighted the unique selling points of the cheeses such as variety of hand-crafted cheeses and best-selling smoked cheddars, and the pairing options with complementary products such as crackers and jams. Finally, the new titles and meta descriptions were implemented on the website.

Results
